Bella Gioia, a Sicilian restaurant in Park Slope features reclaimed materials in almost every inch of the space. The bar top was once the floor of an old Southern train depot and the bar front is decorated with light blue and red vertically aligned salvaged broomsticks. Table tops are made out of antique pine pallets, and old airplane parts are used as light sconces. The flooring, doors, windows, banquet railing, wine shelves, speaker covers, planters, and even the bricks in the newly added vaulted ceiling are all reclaimed from other sources.
